POOL & ARENA LED LIGHTS
When you are considering pool and arena lights, remember that light that reflects off the ice or water can cause safety concerns from sudden glares. With a 140 degree beam spread and diffuser lens technology, our light output can be scattered to optimize spread and reduce glare. With sophisticated lighting patterns and optimal uniformity, you’ll still get the lighting levels required in your facility. Our High Bay Arena lights not only work great on ice or water but these pool and arena lights are also excellent for outdoor arenas, soccer fields, rodeo arenas, and football fields.
Town of Pincher Creek Upgrades Ice Arena to LED Lighting
Home to the Pincher Creek Huskies hockey team, the town of Pincher Creek (population 3,619) rallies around their local arena.
While the building is over 50 years old, upgrading to an LED lighting technology gives the town arena a bright new look.
The arena initially had 42 Metal Halide 400 watt bulbs and ballasts. Old lighting was replaced with LEDinAction’s Commercial Series 200 watt LED fixture.
Benefits with LED Technology:
- Easy Installation: The Project was installed in 1 day by 1 electrician
- Power Saving: The town paid over $42,000 for power in the arena last year. This year they expect the lighting portion of that bill to be reduced by over 50%
- Lighting Controls: They now have the ability to control lighting from a smart phone application. Benefits include putting lights on a timer, turning on only one side of the area if the other side is not in use, and putting on a light show when a goal is scored.
- Quality of Light: Lighting levels are much higher. Feedback from the local Media said it’s much easier to take good photos without having to edit for print.
